Les jardins de Peyreladas

Protecting the local plant and fruit heritage and safeguarding biodiversity

Promoting and sharing knowledge and know-how linked to plant symbiosis, organic farming, Permaculture and other techniques and discoveries that respect living organisms.

Trees are dug up in winter, when they have gone dormant, and as the old saying goes, "all wood takes root on Saint Catherine's Day". Our opening period runs from then until the end of February. However, if you want bare-root trees before December, you can also come and choose from the fairs and markets where we exhibit our production.

Small graft exchange - grafts, plants, seeds... Come and share your surplus and unearth some treasures. - Chloë will make available the available grafts (mainly apple trees, about 50 varieties) Upcoming courses and training courses Soft pruning course with Marceau Bourdarias (in partnership with the GAB Creuse) Pottery The pottery shop is full again! with some lovely new items from this summer: lots of utilitarian pottery: soup plates, bowls, glass, salad bowls, cups... I took the time over a few rainy days this winter to do the final glaze firings. There are some very pretty things! Always the same extraordinary quality of vitrified stoneware, salad bowls and bowls that sing! In the field... It's time to harvest and sort the apples, tidy up the nursery, prepare the soil for new planting, clear the land, mulch and install the drip system, because we don't have time in the spring.
